Mayweather-McGregor 2 Betting Odds Now Up

The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight, many would agree, lived up to all its expectations, lasting right into the 10th round before the Mayweather victory that saved Vegas and all the online sportsbooks.  The fight also brought plenty of payouts to both fighters. Most folks wonder WHEN – not IF – Mayweather-McGregor will take place.

While actual odds on the winner of a rematch have not been posted, Betway.com did begin offering odds on whether a rematch would take place.

Those odds were set at a respectable 7/2 for a payout potential of $70 for every $20 bet.

The books sure hope for a Mayweather-McGregor 2 fight as this became the most wagered on event in recent memory, surpassing this year’s action on the Super Bowl in North America.  For Gambling911.com, traffic for the fight was an astonishing 10 times plus that of any major event ever promoted on the site, including this year’s Kentucky Derby and Super Bowl.

In addition to the matchup likelihood odds, Betway was also offering betting on what Mayweather and McGregor will do next (now that they each took home a fortune).

For his part, Mayweather says he is officially retired from fighting without a defeat while McGregor will continue taking on opponents.  Despite the eventual loss, much praise was heaped upon the UFC fighter who had never taken part in an actual boxing match.

Odds of who McGregor will fight next appear below.

McGregor Next Fight?
Tony Ferguson 6/4
Kevin Lee 7/4
Floyd Mayweather 4/1
Nate Diaz 5/1
Khabib Nurmagomedov 11/2
Paulie Malignaggi 20/1
Gennady Golovkin 50/1
Jose Aldo 50/1
Amir Khan 66/1
