Baltimore Ravens Odds to Win 2017 AFC North, Super Bowl 52

The Baltimore Ravens are expected by oddsmakers to win no more than 8 regular season games in 2017.  As such, their odds of winning the AFC North were at close to 4/1 and Super Bowl 52 at 45/1.

Futures bettors were mostly backing away from the Ravens in the wake of Joe Flacco’s injury news.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Ryan Mallett will likely step in for the first few games at least.

”I think Ryan has played well,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said. ”He has a really not good day, and I saw a lot of stories about that. I see he’s having some pretty good days, and I haven’t seen any stories about that. What’s up with that?

”But no, I think he’s doing a good job, and he’s had some good days.”

Mallett has played in a total of six games for the Ravens, completing 59.2 percent of his passes for 592 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

”I always prepare as if I was starting,” Mallett said. ”That’s the only way you can do it and try to be successful, anyway. So, every week I prepare like the starter just in case.”
