Which Team Wins the NFC North Division in 2017 – Betting Odds

The 2017 NFC North has the Green Bay Packers as the favorite to win but each of the teams in this division do have a shot so this is far from a given in our early outlook.  It’s true 75 percent of those betting the Packers Regular Season Wins are on the OVER 10.5.

Green Bay Packers – There are still holes in the Packs defense.  Ranking 31st in passing yards allowed didn’t prevent them from reaching the Playoffs again last season.  With Chicago and Minnesota in particular looking better on paper in 2017, the Packers failure to address their defense could result in a step backwards.

Minnesota Vikings – Oddsmakers see the Vikings providing Green Bay with the most competition, especially early in the season with a stretch of home games on the schedule.

ESPN.com points out:

If the Vikings are going to return to the playoffs, they'll have to handle a late stretch of difficult road games that includes another Thanksgiving Day matchup in Detroit, followed by trips to Atlanta and Carolina. And for the second straight year, the Vikings will spend Christmas weekend in Green Bay, where they'll play the Packers in a Saturday night matchup on Dec. 23.

Detroit Lions – Some experts have the Lions finishing 2nd in this division with a 9-7 record.  The oddsmakers have Minnesota with the second shortest odds of winning the division (4/1), two points shorter than Detroit’s (6/1).

2017 Regular Season Team Wins Totals (bold is our early choice)

Packers 10.5 OVER -105, UNDER -125 Bet Here

Vikings 8.5 OVER -110, UNDER -120 Bet Here

Lions 8 OVER +120, UNDER -150

Bears 5.5 OVER +130, UNDER -160 Bet Here

More good bets on the season wins in this division similar to that of the NFC South division.  The Packers winning 10 or fewer games this season appear to be in the cards while Minnesota should get over the .500 hump.  Chicago is the team we feel most confident in with the regular season wins betting.  We here at Gambling911.com believe they can go 8-8 if everything comes together early in the rebuilding process.
