Which Team Wins the NFC South Division in 2017 – Betting Odds

The 2017 NFC South looks, on paper at least, to be the toughest division in the NFL.  While the New Orleans Saints look like they’ll finish 4th, this is a team good enough to finish above the .500 mark where we are concerned.  NFC South odds to win had Atlanta as the +165 favorite, with a potential payout of $165 on every $100 bet or $16.50 for every $10 bet.  Other NFC South odds to win: Carolina 2/1, Tampa Bay 3.5/1, New Orleans 4.5/1.

Atlanta Falcons - Matt Ryan is expected to continue his solid play under new offensive coordinator in Steve Sarkisian.  The Kyle Shanahan-implemented system is not expected to change much.  The supporting cast continues to be solid for Ryan with one big difference: They’ve added more pieces to the front seven.

First-round pick UCLA edge rusher Takkarist McKinley should have a quick impact on the deep rotation at defensive end.

Carolina Panthers - They have built a deep pass rush during the off season while locking up key players the likes of Julius Peppers and Kawaan Short.

Here is something else to consider: a healthy middle linebacker the likes of Luke Kuechly should lead the Panthers in tackles.  Alas, he’s suffered from concussions the past two years.  Carolina should have the best defense in this division so there is value at 2/1 odds of winning.

2017 Regular Season Team Wins Totals (bold is our early choice)

Falcons 9.5 OVER -135, UNDER +105 Bet Here

Panthers 9 OVER -140, UNDER -110 Bet Here

Buccaneers 8.5 OVER -115, UNDER -115 Bet Here

Saints 8.5 OVER +120, UNDER -150

We here at Gambling911.com think that each of the NFC South teams will win 9 or more regular season games and believe the Saints will probably finish at .500.  The Saints though are priced at -150 to win UNDER 8.5 so that is really the most difficult bet in this division when it comes to regular season wins.
