2017 World Series of Poker Main Event Day 1A Kicks Off

The 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event started Saturday and will continue on for several days.  This year’s Event is expected to surpass 6000 players, the buy-in for each being $10,000

"It's very simple. It's kind of like the Super Bowl of poker. It's the single most important tournament of the year," said Jonathan Duhamel, who won the Main Event in 2010. "Your whole life is going to change if you win that tournament."
