Shuffle Up and Deal…. 2017 WSOP Main Event Cards in the Air

Day 1A of the 2017 World Series of Poker kicked off Saturday with the all-important call to “Shuffle Up and Deal”.

The clock is running and the 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event is underway.

We will know in a matter of days whether this main event is the biggest since 2006 when the World Series of Poker Main Event reached its peak.

Early favorite faces at the main feature table were Richard Seymour and Anton Morgenstern, Phil Laak, Barny Boatman, Iraj Parvizi, Donnacha O'Dea, Chris George, Matthew Ashton, Emil Ekvardt, and Zorlu Er.

One of the players seated in Amazon Purple is 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Martin Jacobson. The Swede won $10 million for topping poker's biggest event, and he'll be looking to put together a strong Day 1 here as he did when he won this, when he bagged the chip lead on his starting day.
