Gunshot Fired by Police While Trying to Remove Underage Gamblers

Nobody was injured Tuesday morning after a gunshot was fired at the Planet Hollywood Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

Police officers were attempting to remove two underage gamblers from the facility at around 12:30 am when the incident occurred.  One of the boys attempted to escape.

“A struggle ensued,” Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon said.

Gordon said that one of the gambler’s attempted to grab a handgun from his waist during a tussle, at which time a round was fired towards the floor.

One of the boys was later found to be armed.
