Chicago Bears Regular Season Win Total Betting Odds 2017

The Chicago Bears regular season win total betting odds were set early at 5, priced at -115.  Odds are subject to change and only available until September 6 so lock the current odds in now.

SettingTheEdge.com offered up an excellent early preview of the Bears upcoming season.

The 2016 Chicago Bears had a good offense outside of turnovers. It will be an offensive-led team in 2017, but there’s room for optimism for improvement at the line of scrimmage (Eddie Goldman returning from injury), at linebacker (16 full starts from their two 2016 free agent signings) and in the secondary (four significant bodies added with former first-round pick Kyle Fuller coming off of a missed season). If I were a betting man, I would bet that this isn’t the type of team that repeats itself as one of the bottom five teams of 2017.

Assume this team trends on the lower end of the .500-ish cluster, with them never really being in the driver’s seat to control playoff destiny, but they’ll show improvement this year.

They have the Bears winning closer to eight regular season games.

Indeed, we here at Gambling911.com have reserved hopes that the Bears can at least win more than 5 regular season games though we are a little less optimistic than the folks at SettingTheEdge.com.

The Bears’ decision to trade up one spot for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was the talk of the NFL during this year’s Draft.  Mike Glennon is set to start the season, however.

Another great pickup: Prince Amukamara on the secondary.

Yes, the pieces are there.  They could turn things around quickly.

The Packers look like the team to beat in this division at -250 but Minnesota has also captured our imagination a little more than the Bears, who will more likely be in the rebuilding stage in 2017.   It doesn’t help that the early half of their schedule makes us a little squeamish.
