The Cowboys had an exception record at covering the spread last season to reflect their amazing turnaround.  A stark contrast from the 4-11 ATS record from the year before.

2017 Early Observations

The Cowboys did nothing spectacular this offseason, nor was it entirely necessary to do so.  Where they are lacking is on the offensive line.  Right tackle Doug Free retired and guard Ronald Leary left for the Broncos in free agency.  It’s hard to see Dallas playing any better than they did last season.  They should still be very good and, while we’d like the price to be a little higher, there is some value in taking the Cowboys paying $14 for every $10 bet to win the division.
