Alabama Crimson Tide Expected Wins This Season – Odds

Oddsmakers at BetOnline have released the Alabama Crimson Tide expected wins for this season.

The price is a hefty -260 on the OVER 10.5 regular season wins.  A failure to win OVER 10 games will result in a payout of $20 for every $10 bet or $200 for every $100 bet.

The Tide are favorites to win the College Football Championship game once again this season.

Over the past three seasons, Alabama has managed to win more than the 10.5 games, not counting the post season title matchups. Between 2008 and this past January, Alabama has won 112 games and lost 13, some of these losses occurring beyond the regular season schedule.

Some important considerations before placing this future bet: For the first time since 2009, it does not appear as if the Tide will sign the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class as assessed by the 247Sports Composite rankings.  There are only two verbal commitments as of press time.

In sharp contrast, Ohio State has 10 verbal commitments from four- or five-star prospects.  As a result, this leaves them somewhat more vulnerable than in past years.

Alabama will be favored in one of the most highly anticipated Week 1 College Football games in some time where they will face off against a solid FSU team (3rd shorest odds to win the College Football Championship game).

Arch-rival Auburn and LSU also appear on the schedule with Auburn a host.  Both teams are among the top 10 in terms of shortest odds to win the College Football Championship game.
