PKR Poker Shuts Down: Customer Payouts Frozen

A long established online poker website, known for its innovative 3D graphics, has shut down with little warning.

PKR Poker, established in 2005, claimed to be licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and in the UK by the UK Gambling Commission. Their license number was 000-039279-R-319296-006.

By Monday morning, this information was replaced by the following vague notice:

Further to earlier announcements, PKR limited and PKR Technologies Ltd have filed applications to Court for Administration orders, which will be heard in the week commencing 8th May 2017.

Further information will be placed on this website following the hearings.

This information will include contact details for players and creditors to address queries and details of the process.

Reports have since surfaced that the Microgaming Network, which hosted PKR, shut down their support line in March.  While many networks hold player funds, it has since been confirmed that PKR oversaw funds for its players.

Players can still email PKR at support@pkr.com but are encouraged by Gambling911.com to contact the Alderney Gambling Control Commission with any documentation related to your account.
