Patrik Antonius To Open Poker Room in Monte Carlo

Finnish poker pro and former model, Patrik Antonius, has announced plans to open his very own poker room in ritzy Monte Carlo.

"I can't share any details yet but if we could get a nice poker room in Europe, that would be good for a lot of people,” Antonius told PokerNews.com.  “It would be very easy to organize good games here. We just have to get proper rake so it's reasonable. People would fly here from all over the world.”

Antonius was playing the €100,000 PSC Super High Roller tournament in Monte Carlo when he revealed his plans.

The 36-year-old has won $6.7 million in live tournament play.
