Phil Galfond Run It Once Online Poker Site Launch Delayed

Originally estimated to debut the first quarter of this year, Run It Once is still a work in progress, according to creator and poker pro Phil Galfond.

“We haven't yet reached a point where I'm comfortable offering another launch estimate,” Galfond acknowledged on his blog.  “I've learned time and time again how unpredictable the development process can be and how quickly things can change.

“I know that delays in development are normal and that many companies announce launch dates, miss them, and then announce new ones without a second thought, but I don't want Run It Once to be one of those companies.”

Experts in the field suggest there is plenty of space for new Internet poker sites to enter the industry, especially with the world’s largest site, PokerStars, recently angering the community with a series of sweeping policy changes.

Meanwhile, Americas Cardroom continues to push its way into the top five most trafficked online poker networks thanks in no small part to its high profile Twitch presence and attractive tournament guarantees.

This includes the return of its highly successful OSS Cub3d tournament series (April 9th-May 7th). The 3-part series includes $5.7 million in guaranteed prize money, Punta Cana Poker Classic prize packages, and six sterling silver bracelets.
