Sportsbooks, Bookmakers Thankful Notre Dame Fighting Irish Knocked Out

It’s been a long and painful journey for the sportsbooks taking bets on the Notre Dame Men’s College basketball team..but finally it is over with West Virginia advancing to the Sweet 16 of this year’s March Madness season.

The Irish have been causing bookies heartburn this season with an 18-11-1 record Against The Spread.

West Virginia, which has been hovering just below the .500 mark ATS, walked away with an 83-71 victory Saturday.

Jevon Carter scored 24 points to help his team move on to the Sweet 16 for the third time since 2010.
