The Los Angeles Lakers are proving to be one of the most schizophrenic teams in NBA history.  After winning Game 3 of their Western Conference Final against the Denver Nuggets the Lakers went out and laid an egg in Game 4, losing 120-101.  Which Lakers team will show up on Wednesday night in Game 4?

SBG Global Opening Line: Lakers  -  6 ,  Total  209.5

SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Nuggets on the Road.

The Nuggets were able to win Game 4 even though Carmelo Anthony was sick and scored only 15 points. Chauncey Billups and J.R. Smith had 24 points to lead Denver. "It was important for everyone to step up," Anthony said. "We had a bunch of guys step up today. I know the past two, three games our bench hasn't been as productive as they have been in the playoffs, but tonight those guys stepped up. J.R. stepped up big, Linas Kleiza came in and hit some big shots, he was just phenomenal out there."

The Lakers have made it a habit to follow a good game with a bad one and Monday's effort was poor. "They whooped us, period," said Kobe Bryant, "They whooped us on the glass. They whooped us to loose balls."  The only thing that encourages the Lakers is that they do have home court advantage.

"What we've done is we've won a road game and brought the home-court advantage back to L.A.," head coach Phil Jackson said.

Denver's Chauncey Billups believes the Nuggets can win. "I'm sure the world wants to see Cleveland and the Lakers" in the NBA finals," he said. "You've got the best two players in the world, a chance to see them play in a seven-game series. I don't want to see it. Man, I don't want to see it. And I'm trying my best not to make that happen."

Here are the NBA betting stats for Wednesday's game. The Nuggets are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 playoff games as an underdog. The Nuggets are 21-5 ATS in their last 26 games overall.

The Lakers are 11-3 ATS in the last 14 home games against Denver.
