2017 NCAAB March Madness Favorites

The two teams with the shortest odds of winning the 2017 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship were Kansas and North Carolina.

Either team might be a good bet, however, both Kansas has had a rough time covering the spread this season.  The Jayhawks have gone a mere 11-18-1 Against The Spread and they were just 4-6 ATS the ten games leading into March Madness despite going 8-2 outright over that span.  As such, they haven’t been especially profitable for sports bettors in general.   We recommend money line bets when the line is -8.5 or under as you will typically pay below $40 to win $10 to have Kansas win outright, keeping in mind this is the team that is expected to win the 2017 NCAA Championship.  You will not be able to employ this strategy during the 2nd round as the line will be too large.
