The 2017 El Camino Real Derby betting odds appear below.

This race will be run at Golden Gate Fields in Albany, CA.  It is a Grade III event for three-year-olds featuring a $200,000 purse.  The race is run on 1 1/8 Miles (9 Furlongs) of synthetic.

Ann Arbor Eddie is the 2/1 favorite with Sheer Flattery close at 7/5.

"We've got some nice 3-year-olds and Ann Arbor Eddie is one of them," trainer Doug O'Neill said of his Square Eddie gelding. "He's been extremely honest, but now we'll add some extra distance and try synthetic. It's a big (purse) and that makes it really intriguing, but it's also an easy ship from Southern California. It also helps that Square Eddies seem to be able to run on everything."

Arbor Eddie has won back-to-back stakes restricted to California-breds, the Dec. 18 King Glorious and the Jan. 28 California Cup Derby.

Sheer Flattery He finished third at the Robert B. Lewis (G3) on February 4 and is trained by Hall of Famer Jerry Hollendorfer.  This flatter colt broke his maiden at Santa Anita and will have jockey Frank Alvarado guiding him through this race.
