The 2017 NBA All Star Skills Challenge winner odds had Isaiah Thomas (Boston) as a slight +150 favorite ahead of John Wall (Washington) at +175.

Thomas might be one of the favorites. He's incredibly fast, and he isn't going to mess up his handle. The passing part is almost comically easy for the guards, so really, it will probably come down to how quickly everyone can hit their 3-pointers. Thomas is very fast, very mobile and very good at 3-pointers, which puts him at a pretty significant advantage.
Westerholm, however, sees good things with Joel Embiid. (Philadelphia), who would pay a sweet $150 for every $10 bet.
Still, bet against Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid at your own risk. He thought he should have been in the All-Star Game, and knowing that he has one chance to make an impact on the 2017 festivities, he might be motivated to win. With silly contests like the Skills Challenge, simply wanting to win can sometimes be enough.
