Aussie Millions 2017 Attracts Over 700 Players

The Aussie Millions 2017 had attracted some 718 players by the final opening day Tuesday.  That number was still rising and closing in on the 2016 final total of 732.

Big name players include the likes of Jennifer Tilly, Erik Seidel and Ari Engel.  Other big names were knocked out early including Tilly’s beau Phil Laak, Sam Trickett, Dan Shak and Annette Obrestad, the youngest player to have ever won a World Series of Poker Main Event Bracelet (in the European premier of the event).

The Aussie Millions is a series of poker events that will take place at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia.

The Main Event of the series is the Southern Hemisphere's richest poker tournament with a prize pool in excess of A$7 million.

This year’s Aussie Millions is set to conclude on 30 January.
