A man who broke into the Best Bet Casino in Helena, Montana December 29 was caught as a result of his applying for a player’s club card just hours before.

Daniel Xavier Durglo, 30, was already in the county jail on another warrant from the state Department of Corrections when officials served a felony warrant on him Friday.

Following the examination of video surveillance, an employee of the casino recognized the suspect robber as the individual who filled out the player’s club application.

Durglo and another man were seen entering through the fire exit.  They broke into some drawers and removed keys.

It was the second robbery at a Montana casino to close out the year.

On Monday it was revealed that police had captured two individuals suspected of an armed robbery of Lucky Lil's casino in Billings in November.   One other suspect was still at large.
