Poker pro Phil Hellmuth claimed on Twitter Sunday night that he won his two biggest bets of the year so far, both on NFL season win totals.

Hellmuth tweeted:

I won my biggest bet of the year, Giants OVER 8 wins, and my 2nd biggest, Titans OVER 6, need Balt OVER 8 (8-6, I can't lose, but could tie)

The Giants could clinch a Playoff spot with a win next week while the Titans are fighting with Houston for the AFC South title.

Hellmuth, the record World Series bracelet holder, did not disclose how much money he has won thus far or what stakes were made at the start of the season.

Season wins totals are future bets made prior to Week 1 for any sport whereby the bettor wagers on the OVER or UNDER number of regular season wins a particular team will have by season’s end. Prices are often higher on the least likely outcome though season totals odds tend not to be particularly lopsided.
