Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith predicted his 0-16 team would rebound to make the playoffs this season but Sportsbook.com oddsmakers aren't buying it.

In the newly released Regular Season Wins futures odds just released at Sportsbook.com, the oddsmakers have set the Lions win total at a lowly five games with the Under at -130, the Over at even money.

"This team had the worst season in the history of football and they aren't going to be that much better this year," said Sportsbook.com spokesman Dave Staley. "They have some great talent like (receiver) Calvin Johnson but they are still a long ways from being competitive."

The Regular Season Wins odds are always one of the most popular offseason bets and with the lines just released, Sportsbook.com members now have more ways to bet on the NFL in the offseason.

Detroit's win total is the lowest of all the win totals, with the St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders next at an Over/Under of 5.5.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs are both listed at Over/Under 6 wins with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers number set at 6.5.

At the other end of the spectrum, the New England Patriots have the highest number at 11.5 wins.

"They have the third toughest strength of schedule this year so that makes this a very interesting number," said Staley. "There's no doubt in my mind that they can go Over with a healthy Tom Brady at quarterback but you just don't know how his knee will hold up"

The defending Super Bowl Champion, Pittsburgh Steelers, are second with a win total of 10.5 while the New York Giants and Indianapolis Colts totals have been set at 10.
