The books will be rooting against three teams Sunday with the 2016 NFL Week 12 top bets being the Patriots, Titans and Giants. Sportsbooks will be heavily exposed with these three spreads.
Patriots @ Jets
Sure Tom Brady returned to practice after missing two days due to a knee injury but he remains coy about whether he’ll start against the Jets on Sunday. Odds are good he probably will but odds are not as good he’ll be at 100 percent. Rob Gronkowski missed last week's game with a chest injury and was limited in practice this week.
This is perhaps a recipe for a Jets cover. The line has dropped from -9 to -7 favoring New England so difficult to know how the bookies are feeling about this one on the surface. 86 percent of the action was on New England.
Titans @ Bears
Bookies are definitely trying to entice action on the Titans, who have been rare among the top weekly NFL bets. They were seeing 93 percent of the spread action with a line that has shot up from a PICK’EM all the way to Titans -5.5 Saturday.
Giants @ Browns
The winless Browns host the Giants in Cleveland Sunday. New York was seeing just shy of 90 percent of the action in this game as a -7 favorite. Books have not moved over the 7. In fact some have drifted down to -6.5 on occasion (though never staying there for long). There seems to be a strong opinion on Cleveland covering here.
