The line on the Patriots-Jets Week 12 game has fallen from New England -9 to -7 as news comes out that starting quarterback Tom Brady continues to sit out of practice for a second straight day. LIVE IN-PLAY WAGERING right up to the final minute will be available on this game.
Will Tom Brady be Playing in Patriots-Jets Game Sunday?
The culprit here is a knee injury. Sources told ESPN's Mike Reiss that it should not affect Brady's availability for Sunday's game against the New York Jets however. Will he be in true “Brady” form though? That is the question.
The injury occurred in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks but Brady still managed to throw four touchdown passes this past Sunday against the 49ers.
Encouraging Action on the Patriots?
The move from -9 to -7 is telling since 86 percent of the betting action was on New England as of Thursday. The books appear to have a strong opinion on New England’s inability to cover against the Jets Sunday. The Patriots and Cowboys have been killing this books this season but are finally starting to break down a bit with Dallas failing to cover a 7 point spread on Thanksgiving Day.
