The NFL 2016 Week 9 early top bets were easy to determine. Those would be the Atlanta Falcons on the spread as a -4 road favorite in Tampa Bay and the Dallas Cowboys as a -7 road favorite in Cleveland.
What Makes the Atlanta Falcons an NFL Week 9 Top Bet?
The Falcons, playing Thursday night, were seeing better than 80 percent of the betting action on the road in Tampa Bay. Despite this, the books had moved the line down to Atlanta -3.5 ahead of the game as an enticement to wager on the heavy public favorite Falcons. Watch as this one ends in a Tampa Bay cover, at least that’s what the bookies are relying on.
What Makes the Dallas Cowboys an NFL Week 9 Top Bet?
This one is easy. Dallas is seeing nearly 90 percent of the early backing against the winless Cleveland Browns on the road. The books can care less as they continue to encourage action on Dallas, moving the line from -8 to -7. Dare we say Cleveland covers this one!!!!!
We would be remiss in pointing out that Dallas (and New England for that matter) have been giving the books fits. They seem defiant though in Week 9. The exposure is like nothing we have seen in quite a few weeks in the NFL with the Falcons and Cowboys combined.
