Everybody and their mother is going to be betting on the Cubs-Indians World Series this week and Gambling911.com has your Game One hot trends to mull over.  The Cubs were priced at -113, Indians +106 with a total of 6.5.

Why The Cubs-Indians World Series is Likely to Shatter Past Betting Records

Reuters noted on Monday that Vegas Strip sports book operators expect wagers to exceed the unofficial record set in 2004 when the Boston Red Sox snapped their 86-year championship drought.

"Because both of these teams haven't been there in such a long time it's capturing non-baseball fans' attention as well," Jay Kornegay, vice president race and sport operations Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, told Reuters on Monday.

Sports bettors outside of these two cities want to take part in a piece of history.  No matter the winner, one of these two teams will be ending its long championship drought just as the Red Sox did in 2004.
