The Sun reports that a heartless fraudster, Maria Blacklock, is accused of impersonating her dead mum in an effort to steal £66,000from her pension that she later lost at the casinos.

The 58-year-old Blacklock and her mother, Phyllis Millman, moved to Las Vegas in the mid-2000’s.  Millman passed away in 2011.

Blacklock then falsified certificates to make it look like her mother was still alive, emptying her bank accounts of the money still being paid to the elderly woman for state pensions and private payments from Phoenix Group, the Sun reports.

Blackwood was handed a suspended sentence of two years jail and ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work after admitting to the fraud.
