A French nurse won two mini-WCOOP Tournaments, both with huge fields, and both at the same time.
Iwan ‘Ethanolol’ Roberts, who is based in Prague, entered Event #27: a $2.20 No-Limit Hold’em at 11am on Sunday September 11th with 18856 participants and Event #28: $11.00 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max, an hour and a half later.
In the subsequent hours, Roberts ended up winning both. He turned his first stake into $3510 and the second stake, with an 11,982 field, into $15,604. In other words, two tournaments won at the same time for a total of $19,114 with a stake of just $13.20. Not too shabby.
