Jeremy Ramon Muniz, 29, was seen working security in the front lobby of the operation, where he kept track of who came in and out, according to documents obtained by Arizona Central.

Bethany Graham, 26, was seen in the back of the house, where she took cash from customers and then put credits into customers' accounts, documents said.

Charges include illegal control of a criminal enterprise, promoting gambling and two counts of benefiting gambling.

Esho Odisho, 31, and Ashour Hermez Odisho, 45, identified as owners and operators of Poker Union, and Bruce Lord, 46, identified as the poker-tournament manager, were taken into custody Thursday.  They have since been released on their own recognizance.

The establishment was a vocal supporter of grassroots trade organization, Poker Players Alliance, posting its propaganda conspicuously on its web page.

The PPA is best known for cozying up to online poker rooms and accomplishing very little in its ten year’s existence.

More recently, the PPA has tried, with little success, to get poker legalized in the state of California.
