Odds to Win Gold 2016 Summer Olympics Rugby

No surprise here as Australia was the favorite to win gold at this summer’s Olympics for Rugby.   They are priced at -140.

For some real good value, how about New Zealand to win gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics for Rugby at just shy of 2-1 odds?

Or how about Fiji at 66-1 odds?

The Fiji men’s rugby sevens team won the World Sevens Series earlier this year.

The New York Times notes that Fiji Coach Ben Ryan has so much talent that Jarryd Hayne, who ditched an N.F.L. contract with the San Francisco 49ers to chase his Olympic dream with Fiji, failed to make the roster.

Rugby, the full 15-a-side version, will be returning to the Olympics after nearly a 100 year absence.  You will have to go back to the1924 Games in Paris, when the United States won the gold.
