While neither team is particularly good this season, the Rockies have beaten Atlanta in ten of their last twelve meetings.  They were listed as a -170 favorite in Thursday night’s game.

With the total set at 12, the OVER is not especially appealing.  Three of the last four games in this series played in Colorado have gone way over the current total.

THURSDAY PITCHING MATCHUP: Braves RH Mike Foltynewicz (3-3, 3.70 ERA) vs. Rockies RH Chad Bettis (7-6, 5.55)

Foltynewicz is 0-1 with a 2.57 ERA in four career appearances (two starts) against the Rockies.

Bettis received a no-decision when faced Foltynewicz last weekend after giving up three runs and six hits in 6 2/3 innings.  He is 3-2 with a 6.09 ERA in eight home starts this season.

Julio Teheran has allowed just 9 hits off of 68 at bats versus the current Rockies lineup for the lowest average hits allowed vs. the scheduled lineup this weekend.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
