The odds to win the Democratic Kentucky Primary Tuesday had former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a 1-3 favorite.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders had odds of 6-4 to win the state, which Hillary’s husband Bill Clinton easily carried during his Presidential bid.

Oregon seems to favor Sanders much more with his odds set at 1-5.  Clinton was coming in with 6-4 odds.

Though Oregon might seem like fertile ground for Sanders in theory, Primary restrictions make a win for him in that state more difficult.

In Oregon, only voters registered as Democrats at least 21 days in advance of Tuesday’s election deadline can participate in the party’s primary.  Similar rules appeared to favor Clinton in New York.

That primary may have alerted Oregon voters in time to the rules of their own state after many New York residents, including two of GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump’s own children, were caught off guard by the NY strict registration rules.

“A good many in Oregon did change from non-affiliated or from another party to Democrat,” said Oregon Secretary of State Jeanne Atkins, “I think because there was high interest in that particular primary.
