You can bet the Reds-Indians series where Game 1 opened with Cleveland as a -148 favorite at BetOnline (the best price available).  Entering this week’s series, the total had been set at 7 in four of the last five games played in Cleveland.  The Indians will head to Cincinnati for two more games of the series beginning on Wednesday.

Scheduled starting pitchers:

Monday: J. Lamb (0-0, 1.80) vs. C. Anderson (0-3, 7.31)

Tuesday: A. Simon (1-3, 8.67) vs. D. Salazar (3-2, 1.90)

Cincinnati is 3-13 in the last 16 meetings played in Cleveland and 1-5 in their last six meetings.  Needless-to-say, it’s going to cost you a pretty penny with Cleveland priced at -160 starting winless Cody Anderson for Game 1 of this series.

Cleveland definitely has the edge on Monday having won 13 of the last 16 meetings and the Reds John Lamb simply doesn’t offset what Anderson brings to the table here.

The Indians are 7-0 in Anderson’s last 7 starts after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game.

Salazar will likely cost way more than the -148 price tag assigned to  Cleveland with Anderson on the mound, but Salazar hasn’t given up more than 2 runs in 6 of his last 7 starts while pitching at least six innings in four of those.

TAKE CLEVELAND -148 ON MONDAY and CLEVELAND AT ANY PRICE TUESDAY (Forecast -180)
