Golden State broke the Chicago Bulls previous record for most wins in a regular season, potentially making this the best NBA team and they have managed to crush Houston in the first of two post season games on their way to potentially winning a second consecutive championship.

In the first two Playoffs games, Golden State had beaten the Rockets by 26 poionts in Game 1 and by 9 points in Game 2.

The Warriors suffered a rare loss by two points to the Rockets in Game 3.  Oddsmakers released a price on this game that is three points higher than the -5.5 offered Thursday night.

James Harden scored 35 points, including the game-winner with 2.7 seconds left, and the Rockets took advantage of Stephen Curry's absence to get a 97-96 victory.

"The last shot was typical of what James does," coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. "The move, we've seen before. The finish, we've seen before. You do get spoiled by it at times, but in these biggest of moments, you can't help but appreciate it."

Prior to that game, the Warriors had won nine of the last ten games in the series with Houston.
