Buchholz (0-1, 10.00 and priced at $8700) gave up a two-run homer to J.J. Hardy in the second inning facing Baltimore but did manage to maintain a 4-2 lead going into the sixth.  It all went down hill from there, allowing a single, home run, walk and double before exiting the game.

Over two starts this season, Buchholz has given up three home runs in just nine innings.  He also allowed six walks.

We won’t dare recommend him versus the Blue Jays Monday especially with the total set at 9.5.

Buchholz is 9-for-21 against Ryan Goins with 6 RBIs.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
