To show he is serious, Bilzerian has joined forces with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.  Perhaps Armstrong can provide a little more than just training on a bicycle as a means of enhancing Bilzerian’s performance (if you know what we mean).

Bilzerian accepted a bet from fellow poker player Bill Perkins for $600 000 while throwing in his jet as part of a separate wager with another player.

The 35-year-old Instagram phenom admits he has not been on a bike since the age of 18.

"This is no joke," Bilzerian told the New York Post.

"Nobody does this. From LA to Vegas I have a 13 000-foot climb - which is (almost) half of Mount Everest - but I wanted a challenge."
