Texas A&M was coming in with an 18-5 record Straight Up and 8-8-2 Against The Spread.  Alabama has a record of 13-9 SU and 11-9 ATS.  The Aggies have only covered in three of their last ten games.  The Crimson Tide have done so in half of theirs.

In the last four meetings, Alabama has gone 1-3 Straight Up versus Alabama, however, this is quite deceptive as the Crimson Tide lost by a mere point in two of those games.

Texas A&M lost its lead in the SEC by dropping three of four and suffered its first home loss Saturday, 81-78 to then-No. 25 South Carolina. The Aggies' other two league defeats came on the road to middle-of-the-pack teams Arkansas and Vanderbilt.

"I don't think it was the game plan or the coaches doing something wrong. It was the players, including myself, not being ready to play well enough," said guard Alex Caruso, who had a season-high 16 points Saturday. "It's up to us to get our motors going and be ready to play every game."
