Texas Tech Red Raiders +7

LSU Tigers -7

Total: 74

Texas Tech Red Raiders 7-5 SU, 7-4-1 ATS

The Red Raiders score a ton of points as they average 46.6 points per game which is 2nd in the country but they give up almost as many as they allow 42.6 points per contest. The Red Raiders went over the total in 9 of their 12 games this season. Texas Tech really didn’t beat anyone of note this season as their best win was probably against Arkansas. When the Red Raiders faced a really good team they lost. They were blown off the field by Oklahoma, losing 63-27. Texas Tech is led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes who threw for 4,283 yards and 32 touchdowns with 14 interceptions.

LSU Tigers 8-3 SU, 5-6 ATS

The Tigers were rolling along until they lost to Alabama and that defeat sent them into a tail slide that they didn’t break out of until the last game when they thought head coach Les Miles was on his way out. The Tigers beat Texas A&M and then found out that Miles was keeping his job. The Tigers have a great running back in Leonard Fournette who should have a huge game against the rotten Texas Tech defense. LSU scores 31 points per game and allows 24 points per contest. LSU went over the total in six of their eleven games this season.
