As we head into Wednesday, Gambling911.com has been monitoring odds on the 2009 US Open across the board.  Of most significance are the Tiger Woods 2009 US Masters odds.  These range anywhere from a low of +150 to a high (best payout) of +240 found at Sportingbet.com.  Keep in mind that Sportingbet does not take bets from US citizens, however.  Canadians, Europeans, Asians, Australians and everyone else across the globe - you're in luck.  But US customers don't need to shed a tear necessarily as Sportsbook.com did offer Tiger Woods 2009 US Masters odds at +220 for a payout potential of $220 on every $100 bet.

"Something to keep in mind is that there will be online bookmakers updating odds throughout the US Masters and if Tiger Woods falls behind early, his payout odds will improve," said Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

That's great news since Woods has a habit of being able to come back from behind the final day.

Sportsbook.com should be updating their odds on Tiger Woods and other golfers at the start of each new day during the tournament, which runs from Thursday through Sunday of this week.

The US Masters is among the most bet on sporting events of the year as are each of the major golf tournaments.  The British Open, however, is the biggest of the bunch.  It is the United Kingdom's most bet on sporting event of the year later this summer.
