The Panthers hope to stay undefeated against a 2-6 Titans team that is 2-6 Against The Spread in their last 8 games following a Straight Up win and 8-20-2 ATS in their last 30 home games.

The line on this game was set at Carolina -4 after opening at -5 earlier in the week.  The number has moved down despite some 80% of the betting public backing the Panthers.  Expect a Titans cover here based on a very strong opinion by the oddsmakers.

From a fantasy perspective, the Panthers have one of the toughest pass defenses in the league so we don’t see Marcus Mariotta having an especially good day on Sunday.  Likewise, tight ends are ruled out against the Panthers as are wide receivers.  Running backs, on the other hand, are fair game.

We don’t see a whole lot of scoring here, nor do the oddsmakers, who have set the total at 44 after opening at 42.  Look for a three-point win or less if Carolina is going to pull this one off.
