Florida Senator Marco Rubio has become the favorite to win the nomination for the Republican party ahead of Wednesday night’s debate on CNBC.  Rubio would pay out $24 for every $10 bet with a win.

Front runner Donald Trump, the famed real estate magnate and reality star, was now at +260 odds for a potential payout of $26 on every $10 bet.

Dr. Ben Carson, who currently leads in Iowa polling, was coming in at 5/1 odds.

One time favorite and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush was now at 6/1 odds.

Rubio has come under fire from Broward County’s Sun Sentinel for his poor voting record in the Senate. That paper claims Rubio is being paid $174,000 with taxpayer money to do a job he is not doing.

"By choosing to stay in the Senate and get the publicity, perks and pay that go with the position — without doing the work — you are taking advantage of us," the paper wrote in an editorial published Tuesday. "Your job is to represent Floridians in the Senate. Either do your job, Sen. Rubio, or resign it."
