The prosecutor’s office out of Tampa, Florida has subpoenaed the Fantasy Sports Trade Association to produce copies of its board-meeting minutes.

It was announced just the other day that Florida Attorney General has launched an investigation into the DFS sector following allegations of insider trading.  DraftKings, which has been mired by a recent insider trading scandal, serves on the board of the FSTA.

The government may be investigating potential antitrust violations or fraud among the large fantasy sports sites, a source tells the Wall Street Journal.  The Florida Attorney General has launched an investigation into whether Daily Fantasy Sports companies like DraftKings and FanDuel have been in violation of state gambling laws.

“We have very aggressive gambling laws,” Marc Dunbar, a partner at Jones Walker LLP in Tallahassee, Fla, told the Journal.
