The Notre Dame vs. Virginia betting line had the Fighting Irish as a -12 favorite pretty much across the board.

The Irish were among the most impressive looking teams in Week 1 play, producing multiple touchdown drives of over 90 yards for the first time in 11 seasons against Texas.

Malik Zaire threw for 313 yards and three touchdowns, and No. 11 Notre Dame held Texas to 163 yards of total offense.  He was 19-of-22 passing, an 86.6 percent completion rate that was second-best in school history.

The Fighting Irish are 0-4 Against The Spread in their last 4 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game while the Cavs are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games in September.  Notre Dame have won 12 of their last 14 September games.
