Vikings Odds to Win NFC North 2015

The Vikings odds to win the 2015 NFC North were set at 7/1 with Adrian Peterson back after missing most of last season due to a suspension for a league violation.

This is a tight division though oddsmakers have Chicago pegged to be the bottom feeders of the division, a position Minnesota has held in recent years.

Peterson is back and should assure the Vikings a few more wins than last year but the start of this new season will likely be brutal.

From Fox Sports:

They (the Vikings defense) have a relatively tough start to the season in the first five weeks (@SF, DET, SD, DEN, BYE) and didn't generate turnovers at a high enough rate to warrant consideration otherwise.

Green Bay Packers -300

Detroit Lions 5/1

Minnesota Vikings 7/1

Chicago Bears 16/1

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
