(Gambling911.com Fantasy Sports Wire) – When it comes to betting the Astros vs. Angels series this week, one will likely be paying close attention to the UNDER as it has occurred in seven of the last nine games with one push.

The dilemma here is that the OVER is 9-1-1 in Houston’s last eleven overall.  In fact, they have scored 6 or more runs in seven of their last ten games.

As Gambling911.com has previously noted, Mike Trout has had a field day with Astros starting pitcher Brett Oberholtzer, going 5-for-10, and Trout has been on fire these past seven days.

In the end, deciding whether to take the OVER or UNDER for this game will likely come down to the starting pitchers.  It’s Astros LH Brett Oberholtzer (2-1, 2.73 ERA) vs. Angels LH Hector Santiago (4-4, 2.77).

Oberholtzer has not only struggled against Trout, he is 1-3 with a 6.35 ERA in four career starts versus the Angels as a whole.

Santiago is 0-2 with a 5.32 ERA in six career appearances (four starts) against Houston but was strong in a no-decision on May 7, when he allowed just one hit over 6 1/3 scoreless innings.

With Oberholtzer having won consecutive starts for his first two victories of the season, we can see him yielding plenty of hits this day against a club that has given him fits, thus the OVER seems the more likely scenario here, bucking the series trend.

The total for this game was set at 7.5.  – Tyrone Black, Gambling911.com
