One of the world’s biggest Daily Fantasy Sports sites, DraftKings.com, will be offering the chance to win a cool million with this week’s US Open and its Golf Millionaire Maker contest.
The $2.5M Fantasy Golf Millionaire Maker is quite possibly the largest of the Daily Fantasy Golf contests being offered up this week.
Individuals can draft up to 500 lineups for a mere $20 each and a shot at the $1 million 1st place prize. It’s being billed as the “Biggest Fantasy Golf Contest Ever”.
Of course, with a site as big as DraftKings, the odds of winning aren’t particularly good. Second place pays $100,000.
This event is being capped off at 143.1K and there were some 37.4K who had already entered heading into Sunday.
Gambling911.com believes there are easier ways of raking in a couple hundred to a few thousand dollars with nominal risk in our humble opinion.
A $20 bet on Jordan Spieth to win this week’s US Open would pay out $130 at BetOnline. A $200 bet on Spieth to win pays $1300.
But the elusive Tiger Woods will pay out $800 on a $20 bet and $4000 on a $100 bet should he finally win a Major after all these years.
