Red Sox vs. Orioles Series Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy Plays

Gambling911.com has your Red Sox vs. Orioles series betting picks and DFS plays for Wednesday evening.

The Series:  There is no edge when it comes to the side or total

Recent Performance:  The UNDER is 25-10-2 in Baltimore’s last 37 overall and 15-6 in the Orioles last 21 home games.  The UNDER is 25-10-2 in Baltimore’s last 37 games overall.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Red Sox RH Rick Porcello (4-5, 5.01 ERA) vs. Orioles LH Wei-Yin Chen (1-4, 3.18)

Porcello rebounded from two starts in which he gave up 13 runs in 11.1 innings. He allowed two runs Wednesday.  His last two starts against Baltimore resulted in 4 and 8 runs, respectively.

Chen has only permitted more than 3 runs in two of his last ten starts.  Six of the last seven games he has started in have totaled 7 or less.

Fantasy Plays:

Hanley Ramirez – Had a number of hits over the weekend both Saturday and Sunday before the bats all went cold Tuesday.  He is 1-for-3 against Chen so definitely worth a look Wednesday night.

Dustin Pedroia – Has hit in 8 of this last 10 games and has been solid against Chen over the years, going 15-for-32 with five doubles.

Manny Machado was 2-for-4 with an RBI on Saturday night and 2-for-5 Sunday with an RBI.   He is 5-for-15 off of Porcello.

Matt Weiters has an ERA of .417 and had three hits over the weekend.  He’s a decent 4-for-13 off of Porcello.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
