The co-author of legislation that would ultimately ban most forms of online gambling in the U.S., South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, plans to announce whether he intends to run for President of the United States on June 1.

Graham, a Republican, says he is “99.9 percent sure” he will run for President.

"If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody's out there talking — me and [Sen. John] McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments," Graham said.

Along with Utah Republican Representative Jason Chavitz, Graham introduced Restore America’s Wire Act (RAWA) earlier this year that would update a 1960’s Wire Act applying it to the World Wide Web.

While Graham may be 99.9 percent sure he is running for President, his chances of being nominated are currently around 1 percent though he does stand a solid chance of winning one of the early primary states, South Carolina.
