BetDSI.com has your odds to win the 2015 Wells Fargo Championship.  Below we look at a few of the top contenders with the best chance of winning.

Rory McIlroy 3.5-1

Jim Furyk 16-1

Henrik Stenson 17-1

Phil Mickelson 22-1

Hideki Matsuyama 23-1

Bill Haas 27-1

The heavy favorite this week is McIlroy who played well last week at THE PLAYERS but didn’t make many putts. “My game is right there and I am expecting a week if I hole putts then I will be in winning position,” he said.

“But then ball-striking wise I am really happy where I am tee to green and I am in a very good place going into the summer. And now going back to Quail Hollow this week that’s good cause for added excitement as I have good memories and it’s a course I really enjoy.”

Tournament Notes

This event is held at the Quail Hollow Club which is a par 72 which measures 7,562 yards. Rory McIlroy set the course record for 18 holes in 2010 as he shot a 62 that was equaled last year by Brendon de Jonge. Last year it was J.B. Holmes winning by a shot over Jim Furyk. McIlroy has finished well in this event nearly every time including getting his first PGA Tour win in this tournament. The hometown contenders who live in Charlotte are Webb Simpson, Brendon de Jonge, Robert Karlsson, Jason Kokrak, Martin Laird, Kyle Reifers and Johnson Wagner.

Golf Picks

There is no question that McIlroy can win any event he enters but there is no value this week on him at odds of about 3-1. This could be a good week for a longshot to win so I will go with Hideki Matsuyama at 23-1, Brendon de Jonge at 57-1 and Webb Simpson at 57-1.
