New York, NY--Ticonderoga Ventures, Inc. announces that publisher Chris Costigan of the leading gambling news site Gambling911.com will be speaking at the first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo

(www.fantasysportsexpo.com ) on August 6-7, 2015 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Chris Costigan founded Gambling911.com in 1999, a site that has expanded to cover all aspects of the gambling industry as well as cross over industries like prediction markets, social gaming and daily fantasy sports.  Mr. Costigan will be moderating the final panel and the legal panel at this year’s event.

Gambling911.com parent company, Costigan Media, helped open the doors to all online media by winning a precedent setting case requesting that the U.S. Justice Department permit digital media outlets the same rights afforded to mainstream press and television for access requests to sealed court documents (reference).  Likewise, Mr. Costigan corresponds regularly with some of the brightest legal minds within the online gaming space.

The fantasy sports industry has grown from an estimated UD $1.6 Billion in 2006 to USD $15 Billion in 2014.  Experts consider this the tip of the iceberg with the advent of daily fantasy sports (known as “DFS”).   With new players attracted to the market over the last 2 years, some fantasy sports leagues are experiencing double digit growth monthly.
